The permanently bolted side case carriers from Hepco&Becker are suitable for the BMW R 850 R (1994-2002) and R 1100 R (1994-1999). These carriers are securely bolted to the motorcycle's frame. They are compatible with almost all touring side case systems from Hepco&Becker. The cases are securely fastened to the carriers with the help of a metal locking mechanism, which requires an additional lock adapter. This lock adapter is usually included in the side case set and is attached to the rear right and left of the carrier, providing the receptacle for the case locking mechanism. The model-specifically manufactured carriers are solidly designed and offer effective protection for the rider's or passenger's legs in case of an accident. Hepco&Becker's side case carriers can usually be combined with the company's rear carriers without any problems. Please refer to the installation instructions and model-specific notes for details. These carriers are made of steel tubing and are manufactured in Germany. They are firmly bolted to the motorcycle frame and feature a high-quality surface finish. They fit most Hepco&Becker hard shell side cases. Please observe the model-specific notes for each carrier for any potential limitations. In most cases, the turn signals remain in their original position, but sometimes they may need to be repositioned to ensure a certain light beam angle. Luggage systems generally do not require a general operating permit (ABE) or registration. The tube diameter is 16 mm.
