The black Alurack top case carrier has been specifically designed for the Aprilia SL 750 Shiver (2007-2009)/GT (2009-2016). It consists of a model-specific installation kit and an aluminum adapter plate that allows for the attachment of Hepco&Becker top cases or soft luggage (not suitable for top cases with a universal plastic base plate). Each Alurack top case carrier is model-specific and seamlessly integrates into the harmonious overall appearance of the motorcycle. Constructed from high-quality aluminum combined with a steel base carrier, the Alurack boasts high strength and a premium look. Additional attachment points for luggage straps, such as for securing luggage rolls, are integrated into the rack's design. The sturdy base construction made from steel and aluminum support plate ensures stability and durability. The package includes the model-specific Alurack top case carrier, a mounting kit, and an installation manual. No additional adapters are required for attaching the top case. The high-quality surface finish gives the carrier an appealing appearance. In technical terms, the Alurack top case carrier functions similarly to the Easyrack top case carrier, with the difference that the bracket for the top case attachment remains fixed in an upright position and cannot be folded down. The model-specific base carrier is identical for both the Easyrack and Alurack. To mount the Hepco&Becker Alu Standard top case 35, a special bracket is required in place of the standard Alurack bracket (item number: 700007350 or 700007351). Luggage carriers of this type generally do not require a general operating permit (ABE) or registration. The recommended load capacity is 5 kg, with model-specific instructions to be found in the installation manual and the motorcycle manufacturer's specifications. Please note that heavy luggage should not be transported in the top case but in the side cases or tank bag. The recommended maximum speed is 130 km/h. The carrier was developed for the motorcycle's stock condition and has not been tested with accessories such as exhaust systems, license plate holders, or other turn signals.
