The Hepco&Becker Lock-it side case carrier is made from German steel tubing and custom laser-cut parts, which are further reinforced in high-stress areas. These carriers can be attached and removed in seconds. To do so, simply loosen the Lock-it screws by a quarter turn, and the side panels can be removed to the rear or to the side. As an additional theft protection measure, the carrier can be optionally secured against thieves using our lockable Lock-it screws. All cases are locked onto the carrier using a locking mechanism located on the case itself. To do this, you will need the lock adapters, which are usually included with the case. The lock adapters are screwed onto the carrier on the right and left sides and provide a secure attachment point for the case's locking mechanisms. The sturdy construction of these carriers is MADE IN GERMANY and features a high-quality surface finish. Installation is generally straightforward, but it is advisable to consult the included installation manual. The package includes both the right and left sides of the side case carrier, the necessary mounting materials, and an installation manual. Any restrictions can be found in the vehicle-specific instructions or the installation manual. These carriers are suitable for most Hepco&Becker hard-shell side cases (please note model-specific instructions). Luggage systems generally do not require a general operating permit (ABE) or registration. The tube diameter is 16 mm.
