The black fixed screw-on side case carriers by Hepco&Becker are specifically designed for BMW R 850 R (2003-2006) and R 1150 R (2000-2006) motorcycles, providing a reliable way to attach almost all Hepco&Becker touring hard case systems. These side case carriers are securely fastened to the motorcycle frame and offer a safe way to mount Hepco&Becker hard shell side cases. The cases are securely fastened to the carrier using a metal locking mechanism. An additional lock adapter is required for this, which is typically included with the side cases. This lock adapter is screwed onto the carrier at the rear, both on the right and left sides, providing the attachment for the case lock. The model-specific carriers are robustly constructed and provide effective protection for the rider's or passenger's legs in the event of a fall or accident. In most cases, Hepco&Becker's side case carriers can be combined with the company's rear carriers without any issues. Please refer to the installation instructions and model-specific notes for guidance. The carriers are made of steel tubing and are manufactured in Germany. They are securely screwed onto the motorcycle frame and feature a high-quality surface finish. The side case carriers are designed in such a way that the turn signals typically remain in their original position. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to reposition the turn signals to ensure a certain angle of illumination. The package for this product includes the right and left sides of the carriers, the necessary mounting materials, and an instruction manual. Luggage systems of this type typically do not require a General Operating Permit (ABE) or registration in the vehicle documents. The tube diameter of the carriers is 16 mm.
